Although long-term prophylaxis reduces attack frequency, both clinical studies and patient-reported data show that all anatomic locations continue to experience attacks, including laryngeal attacks which can be
life-threatening.³

Patients with HAE may fear attacks and make compromises to avoid potential attack triggers,
or don’t treat at all when an attack occurs, adding to the burden of HAE.^1,2,4,5
